July 4th free ice cream cone and pie sale with the Parade through town. (Parade route per the Middleton Chamber of Commerce).
Late November – collection and drop-off point for “Scouting for Food” .
December – rehearsal point for Christmas Choir; and Seasonal services.
Easter Season Special services.
May the Saturday before Mother’s day – Plant Sale on main street supporting Middleton’s Scout troop 255.
Thursday Craft Group 10 am to noon.
All year ’round in the Heart of Middleton.

Hygiene Kits
In response to the great need of many individuals and families across the Treasure Valley, the Middleton UMC has decided to create Hygiene Kits to be distributed by the local Food Pantry, Food Bank, and homeless shelters. We believe that in creating and distributing these kits, we can help those in need take a small step toward self-sufficiency and perhaps understand that God’s love for them can come in a variety of forms.
If you would like to help us with this project, just collect some (or all) of the items to create a kit and bring it with you on Sunday morning, or call the church to arrange a time for us to receive your gift. The items we are collecting are:
Middleton United Methodist Church Hygiene Kits
For Distribution to People in Need
This list is for kits to be locally distributed. It is slightly different from the UMCOR health kits.
One hand towel (15 x 25 –17 x 27 inches)
• No kitchen, cleaning, or microfiber towels
One washcloth
One comb
• Must be sturdy with at least 6 inches of teeth
• No pocket combs or picks
• Rattail and combs without handles are acceptable but must have at least 6 inches of teeth
One toenail or fingernail clipper
• No emery boards or metal nail files
Bath-size soap (3 oz. bar or larger)
• No Ivory, Dove or Jergen’s soap
• Do not remove from packaging
Small bottle of shampoo
One adult toothbrush
• Do not remove from packaging
• Personal advertising not acceptable
Small tube of toothpaste
10 adhesive bandages (¾ by 3 inches)
• Common household bandages acceptable.
The above items are placed in a one-gallon size re-sealable bag.
Also to be gathered and distributed as needed:
Lotion (small bottle)
Medium-sized Towel (Larger than the hand towel above, but similar material)
Feminine Products
