Bible Study at 10 am followed by the Regular service 11 am Sundays.

The five-week Bible study will focus on the restoration of the Jewish community following the Babylonian Exile. The sessions will have a time for pressing questions on the readings, followed by background information from the Pastor, and then we will move through the various readings which were assigned for that week. Readings and the weekly themes are:

January 28 – Lamentations 1, 2, 4; and will focus on events around Jerusalem during the exile.

February 4- Ezra 1, 2, 3, 4; Haggai 1,2; Zechariah 1:1-6, 7, 8: this will focus on the earliest returnees, with Zerubbabel as the leader.

February 11 – Ezra 7, 8; Malachi 3:17-18: Ezra and the work on the Temple.

February 18 – Nehemiah 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7:1-3: Nehemiah and the walls around Jerusalem.

February 25 – Nehemiah 8, 9, 12, 13: An overview of the outcome of the restoration.
